What Orbio’s agent economy is doing
Read from the chain and Orbio’s public API, not from what anyone says: who earns the fees, who buys compute, what agents keep and how launches go. Every Orbio agent counts, copies included. Updated every few minutes.

1 · Who earns the fees
Real projects earn the fees. The 78 agents their own project claims are only 3.5% of all agents, yet 77% of all the trading fees agents have earned came from trading them. Copies of real projects drew 8%: traders’ money mostly goes to the real thing.
Every trade of an agent’s token pays a fee: 8.04M ORBIO so far (worth $293.9k at today’s ORBIO price), split 50% staked as ORBIO, 30% minted to the agent as CREDIT, 10% into its AI balance and 10% to Orbio. Orbio’s share has come to 683.9k ORBIO. Each kind of agent’s share of all agents (grey), against its share of all the fees (in colour):
612 of 2,225 agents have earned any fees.
2 · The agents that carry it
A few agents carry the economy. Ten agents earned 57% of all fees, and 612 of 2,225 have earned any.
The ten agents that earned the most trading fees, what share of every agent’s fees each earned, and what each did with what its fees gave it: the CREDIT it put to work, and the stake its owner took back out.

All ten are projects’ own tokens, and all ten have graduated. All ten have taken out 90% or more of their stake, and 1 of them has put a tenth or more of their CREDIT to work.
3 · Who’s still going
Real projects keep trading; the rest stop. Of the agents over a week old, 48% of real projects traded in the last 7 days, against 1% of the rest: 61 of 2,164 agents in all.
Of the 2,164 Orbio agents a week old or more, 61 traded in the last 7 days. Of each kind, the share still trading:
4 · The compute market
Far more compute is for sale than in use. 177.9k CREDIT is for sale on Orbio’s exchange, 40% of all CREDIT. Orbio’s gateway used $1.2k of compute a day over the last 30 days, so what’s for sale would cover 146 days of it.
Compute on Orbio is paid in CREDIT, $1 of compute each. Holders, stakers’ rewards included, sell CREDIT on Orbio’s exchange, and buyers by card or on chain draw from it. What is for sale, against what Orbio’s gateway served:

5 · Compute: bought or earned
Most compute is bought, not earned. 56% of all CREDIT turned into compute came through Orbio’s exchange, from 476 accounts: demand from outside the agents’ own fees.
Activating CREDIT burns it into an Orbio account’s compute balance, so it is what compute is actually bought with. Every activation since Orbio’s first, on 15 Sep, by who sent it:
- 43.9k CREDIT bought on Orbio’s exchange and activated straight into the buyer’s account: 476 accounts
- 29.6k CREDIT activated by the wallet holding it, agents’ wallets included: 264 accounts
- 4,429 CREDIT activated for another account, the agent vault’s included when an owner takes stake out: 717 accounts

7 · What agents keep
Agents cash out rather than spend. They’ve put 5.5% of their own CREDIT to work and taken 90% of their staked ORBIO back out; half the owners who exit do so within 2.5 hours of launch.
The 121.7k CREDIT agents’ fees minted to their wallets, by what each wallet did with it. CREDIT moved out can still become compute in someone else’s hands: that is the section on compute above. Every agent’s CREDIT →

Stake taken out
Half of an agent’s fees is staked as ORBIO, and since 1 October an owner can take it out at any time: 507 owners have taken 3.72M of the 4.15M ORBIO staked.

8 · Which agents graduate
The agents that graduate are real. 20 of the 26 agents that filled their bonding curve are projects that claim their token: 26% of real projects graduate, against 0.3% of copies.
An agent graduates when buyers fill its bonding curve and it moves to its own pool. 26 have. Of each kind of agent, the share that graduated:
9 · The first ten seconds
Launch bots flip. 83% of buys in an agent’s first 10 seconds were sold within 30 minutes: the first buyers are rarely the holders.
Buyers in an agent’s first 10 seconds, too fast for a person, are nearly all bots. Of 2,212 such buys (a wallet counts once per launch), 1,826 had sold 90% or more of it within 30 minutes. By the day the agent launched:

How it’s measured
- Trading fees, CREDIT minted, held and moved out, the AI balance and the stake come from Orbio’s agents API and the chain, per agent. Fees are counted in ORBIO; their dollar value uses today’s price, not the price when each was paid.
- CREDIT activations are CREDIT’s own
Activatedlogs, every one since the first on 15 September. Orbio’s exchange is the address Orbio publishes (/api/protocol/status). - What an account spends from its compute balance isn’t on the chain, so it isn’t here.
- The compute market is Orbio’s own public figures: its exchange’s book, its card checkout’s quote and the compute its gateway
served each day (
/api/analytics, which keeps 90 days; Dossier keeps each day). The book’s history before 24 October is the exchange’s CREDIT balance at each day’s end, from CREDIT’s transfers. - An agent traded on a day its bonding curve’s fill moved or a trade of it is on the chain, or once it graduated, a day its pool has a trade of it, kept from 11 Oct.
- Each section’s headline is written from its figures each time the page is built, and shows only while they hold.
- The same figures are in
api/v1/numbers.json, with one snapshot of the totals a day from 22 October.
